Personally, I like the less aggressive front end, particularly on the NB. The MX-5 has never had a very aggressive or intimidating face, and I think grafting one on makes the car seem large.

I see an angry face with a big nose.

Personally I think the NA Miata's front end is the best looking.

It's not bad, but it certainly seems out of character.

While that is sexy, its not true to that nature of the MX-5. It needs to be softer so it can be more unassuming.

The Miata should forever and always remain cute.

Or it could go all wrong and have Italian reliability, Japanse looks (not too bad actually) Sports car practicality and normal car "fun"

Agreed. "Feminine" is an actual aesthetic in car design and isn't quite what is sounds like it; it's not girly or anything like that but something more like soft, reserved styling. I believe it was the dominant aesthetic in car design in the sixties. In contrast, most cars today have sharp edges and 'angry' features; IMO this will not stand the test of time. That's why the Miata needs to continue to be feminine and neutral in design.
